We want you to be educated about retirement and play an active role in preparing for your retirement so you can live well before and after retirement.

Therefore, we offer a number of tools and resources to help you become educated about the NMERB plan and retirement.

First, we suggest you review the Member Handbook which is a comprehensive guide to the defined benefit plan.

Second, we suggest you attend one of our webinars when we offer them—they provide another way for you to learn all about your retirement benefits.

We also encourage you to peruse our other publications found on this website which will inform you about our funding levels, our funded status and investments.  We suggest you start with some informational presentations [LINK to Publications/Presentations page] that go into detail about NMERB’s fund.
