Outlines the details of the Alternative Retirement Plan, including its purpose, eligibility requirements, contributions rates and administration guidelines. The “Plan documents” for the ARP consist of the following items:
- The statutory sections in the Educational Retirement Act that govern the ARP (NMSA 1978, §§ 22-11-47 through 52);
- Sections 401(a) and 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) regarding governmental retirement plans, as defined in IRC § 414(d); and
- The ARP Operations Manual.
Outlines the duties and responsibilities of the ARP Committee as they relate to the operation of the ARP.
Outlines the objectives which guide the ARP Committee in its selection and monitoring of the investment options in the ARP.
