RTW Program (No New Applicants)

Important Notice: Return to Work 12 Consecutive Month Layout Program is no longer available to new applicants.

Those participating in this program prior to January 1, 2024, may continue working in it until they withdraw from the program. After January 1, 2024, an NMERB retiree withdrawing from this program will be unable to return to this program.

The Return to Work (RTW) 12 Consecutive Month Layout program authorized by Section 22-11-25.1(A) NMSA 1978 and 2.82.5.15 NMAC sunset was effective January 1, 2024.

Those participating in this program on December 31, 2023 may continue until they withdraw from the program. On or after January 1, 2024, an NMERB retiree withdrawing from the program will not be allowed to submit an application to return to this program.
